CIRCULAR SAW BLADE OR JIGSAW BLADE
Würth offers a wide range of saw blades: the circular saw blade, the jigsaw blade, band saw or hand saw. In developing our range of saw blades, we have thought of all the situations that professionals may encounter, the different materials or types of cutting that they may be required to achieve.
At Würth, you will therefore find a wide choice of professional quality saw blades with different properties to suit all cuts. For cutting metal, melamine, laminate or even ceramic, edging wood or fretwork, you have the choice among a hundred models of saw blades.
THE IMPORTANCE OF CHOOSING THE RIGHT SAW BLADE
The choice of your saw blade is important: it must adapt to your type of saw but also to the type of cutting or work you plan to do. This has a huge influence on the quality of your work, your cutting comfort, but also contributes to the good long-term functioning of your saw. For edging it is recommended to use a circular saw blade with a low number of teeth (ideally 20 teeth): the 48-tooth blade having a narrower track, the wood tightens more easily on the blade, blocking thus more easily and thus giving more trouble to the saw motor. For fretwork, band saw blades with gum teeth or thin double-edged jigsaw blades are ideal.
EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY SAW BLADES
The criteria for choosing a saw blade are therefore often the same, regardless of the type of saw used: type of material to be cut, thickness of the part and desired fineness of cut. When cutting metal, be sure to choose a blade that is resistant to twisting and overheating. Würth offers you in particular a range of special metal and stainless steel jigsaw blades with three different levels of quality, thus adapting from standard use to more extreme applications.
Würth uses the most modern materials and techniques to guarantee you a product of remarkable quality. When using a saw, remember essential protective equipment such as protective gloves or goggles to avoid splashing in the eyes.
