SAFE WOODEN CONSTRUCTIONS WITH WÜRTH CONNECTORS AND CONNECTIONS
The different wooden pieces can be connected in different ways. Smaller parts, for example, can be attached to each other quickly and easily with the help of pins and glues. However, if you want to solidly join larger parts, like beams, you must use metal connectors. These are available in many variations in the Würth online shop. You will find in our range the connectors for wood adapted to the different requirements in terms of load capacity, location and construction: shoe, bracket, post bases, connectors, brackets...
FIXING BRACKET FOR WOOD: THERE IS A BRACKET FOR EVERY FUNCTION
With the wooden brackets you fix several wooden elements at right angles to each other. Depending on the application, there are different types of brackets:
For fixing ITE (thermal insulation from the outside), take advantage of specific brackets for ITE.
Take a chair square to firmly anchor lightweight non-load-bearing wooden structures such as boxes, wrappers, furniture, chairs, or fastening slats without structural fastening.
If you want to fix wooden elements to concrete, it is recommended to use special concrete brackets. These fittings are particularly robust and therefore meet high demands in terms of load capacity.
OTHER CONNECTORS FOR WOOD
In addition to wooden brackets, frame shoes and perforated plates, the Würth online shop offers other solutions for timber connections. For example, the column bases are anchored in the ground, and you can then attach wooden beams vertically to them. The latter have the additional advantage of putting the wooden beams above the ground, thus preserving the durability of the wooden materials.
Take for example a truss shoe if you want to connect secondary beams to main beams. This type of connection is very stable and therefore allows greater ranges.
