IDEAL PROTECTION AGAINST MOISTURE AND CORROSION: WÜRTH SILICONE GREASES
Silicone greases are mainly used in the process of lubricating elements such as cylinders, slides, door and cabinet hinges, panoramic roof guides and more. The list of components needing to be lubricated to take advantage of a good operation goes on, particularly in furniture construction or automobile maintenance.
Würth offers you two formats of silicone grease: spray or tube.
WHY CHOOSE A SILICONE GREASE?
Very high sliding power.
Lubricant: prevents lime formation and taps seizing
Excellent water repellence.
Very good electrical insulation properties.
Resistance to high thermal amplitudes.
Transparent grease when spraying. The film of fat gradually becomes translucent white.
Non-stick: prevents seizing due to oxidation and sticking, can be used as a release agent.
Protects plastics and rubbers
FOR WHICH AREAS OF APPLICATION?
Door hinges, guide rails for sliding side doors and locks
Suitable for protecting electrical components such as ignitions, battery terminals, boxes and other electrical connections.
Also suitable for lubricating taps, valves, seals and plastic parts in food and humid environments.
May be in contact with drinking water.
Facilitates the installation of O-rings or flats.
Suitable for lubricating and protecting against moisture of seals and parts in cars, boats, caravans, but also for lubricating most plastics and elastomers.
HOW TO APPLY SILICONE GREASE?
In tube: Degrease and carefully clean the surfaces to be treated. Apply manually.
As a spray: For optimal application and performance, ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, free from used oil and grease. Shake the aerosol before each use. Spray on the components to be treated and allow the solvent to evaporate.
