TIME-SERT® system is based on a solid steel insert machined from a solid piece of material.
The thin walled insert is press fitted to the workpiece.
TIME-SERT® is able to withstand high continuous strains as well as frequent tightening and undoing of screws.
TIME-SERT® can be used in all metal base materials :-
- Iron metals, e.g. steel, stainless steel and cast iron
- Light metals, e.g. aluminium, titanium, magnesium
- Non-ferrous metals, e.g. brass, bronze, copper, zinc
- High strength and synthetically hardened materials (testing required)
