Test tip lights up without metallic contact as soon as a magnetic field is present – it reacts to magnetic fields, excited by direct voltage, alternating voltage or permanent magnets
A function test can be performed via test magnets mounted on the front. If the test tip does not light up, replace the batteries.
- Tests solenoid valves and magnetic coils in pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic systems in all machine and automotive applications
- Tests solenoid valves in oil heating systems
- Simply touch the component with the magnet tester – if the lamp in the test tip lights up, the component is magnetised
- The component being tested does not need to be removed – a magnetic coil can also be tested underneath a protective cover etc. The machine, the unit or the component does not necessarily need to be stopped for this purpose.
