Cap nuts have the distinction of being provided with a closed side, responsible for housing the body of the screw to be tightened. Würth has developed its own range of blind nuts for professionals, a range that we will quickly introduce to you here.

With a tapped hole on one side and a domed head on the other, the cap nut can securely tighten a screw while masking and protecting its threaded rod. It can also be found under the name "non-opening nut". It is used in particular:

• to protect the end of the screw
• to guarantee a better seal for the entire fastening
• to protect the surrounding persons from possible injuries in contact with the screw
