A vulcanised fibre sealing washer is resistant to mineral oils, grease and weak acids, alcohols, ketones, esters, chlorinated hydrocarbons and has poor electric conductivity (insulation). It is preferably used for all water conduits and water pipes.
NoticeWhen using sealing washers, it should be noted that the dimensions are specified as internal and external diameters. If the correctly sized washer is not available, select the washer based on the internal diameter; for example a 10x12 washer can be replaced with a 10x14 or even a 10x16 washer.
